Because of the Coronavirus and its impact on schools, TVCC has decided to move all classes online for the rest of the semester. In order to finish this course, look below to see what you need to do. You will only be taking one more exam now instead of two in addition to the final essay. You will be doing the same kind of worksheets (study guides) that we were doing in class. I am calling them quizzes now instead of worksheets. The four quizzes together will make up 20% of your grade. The quizzes will be accepted up to a week late, but will be deducted 10 points per day. The quizzes and exam are open now, so feel free to work ahead and get things done as quickly as you would like. I will add the essay assignment, along with instructions, at a later date. The two exams (you have already taken the first one in class) will each be 30% of your grade. The exam will not be accepted late. Just like before, the questions on the exams will come from the Quizzes (worksheets). The Essay will count 20%. It will be accepted up to a week late, but will be deducted 10 points per day. I do know that many of you might be facing challenges at work because of Coronavirus or be caring for kids who are now home from school because of this or have problems with completing an online-only course, so if you are having difficulty meeting due dates or being able to finish the course, please send me a message through Canvas or an email at akyle@tvcc.edu so we can discuss your options. I hope everyone is staying safe & healthy, as well as staying home if possible!

Do the Essay by 11:59 pm Thursday, 4/30

Take the Exam by 11:59 pm Tuesday, May 5 - Late exams will not be accepted. Exam questions will come from questions on the four Quizzes above plus Chapters 5, 6, & 7 question packets that you received in class.
