Unit Three, Part I - Organizing and Writing Essay 1
We've done a lot of experimentation with searches over the last couple of weeks. Now it's time to pick two varieties of search, and focus on them exclusively in drafting our first essay. Building off of the outline you developed, you'll complete and edit a final draft status by the end of this module.
You'll be evaluating your grammar usage as well.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
By the end of this module, you should be able to:
- Craft, develop, and support a thesis-driven essay
- Organize an essay
- Express original ideas in an essay format
- Use the writing process of organizing, drafting, and revising to produce an essay
- Assess your own performance on Essay #1
- Demonstrate proficiency in one Grammar Exercise
FOR FURTHER PRACTICE
These resources are not (usually) mandatory, but will often prove valuable in helping you complete other assignments within the unit. Use them at your discretion.
